Contracted by Ponant in collaboration with Travel +Leisure Magazine, Tim Faircloth was trusted to photograph a recent expedition to true ‘90 degrees North’ onboard the luxury ice breaker Le Commandant Charcot.

The client brief was to capture Luxury, reimagined as access to the elemental and the unknown. Where exploration becomes less about arrival than surrendering to forces beyond control on this profound journey to the edge of the world.
